A long-standing feature of our skyline is no more. Marusumi’s old woodchip storage pad conveyor has been dismantled following damage caused by fire.

A new and improved version will be installed shortly. It will have a smaller profile; it will be lower to the top of the woodchip pile. This will make it less visible and will eliminate dust as woodchip is added to the top of the pile.

Elements of the new Telestack system arrived at Northport this week by container from Ireland. Here they are being devanned (unloaded from the containers) before being assembled on site.
